Are you a recent graduate with a specialization in labour law, psychology or human resources related studies? Are you eager to dive into the world of HR and embark on a dynamic career journey? Look no further - Heerema Marine Contractors is seeking a passionate colleague to join our team as a Human Resource Assistant.

Your role in the story

You quickly grasp processes, have a critical eye for improvement, and can drive meaningful change, a true doer who thrives in action-oriented environments. As Graduate HR Assistant - you will assist our employees and HR Business Partners with all kinds of HR-related questions. Conducting a precise and efficient administration is the core business of this role. This will enable you to create a broad fundament for your career within Heerema. Get to know what the life events of people are, how managers support people and what policies drive the organization. Being successful in this job/function can mean a kick start of your career within Heerema. The floor is yours!

What you will be working on

• Administrative support to employees and managers in the full employee life cycle;
• Processing personnel changes in our HR systems in order to prepare the monthly payroll;
• Answering questions from employees face to face, by phone or by e-mail;
• Advising employees and managers on HR issues, and supporting the HR Business Partners;
• Contributing to and initiating improvements and innovations on HR processes;
• Participate in the digitalization project for a new HR system .

Key ingredients for success:

• A bachelor's degree in in labour law, psychology or human resources related studies
• Eager to learn the Dutch employment law;
• Drive to start in an administrative HR function to learn the fundaments of HR processes;
• Able to work with sensitive information;
• Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Process minded, accurate, quality- and result orientated;
• Excellent communication skills in English.
